This is pretty awesome. Alot of people have been doing things with Google Maps but this makes it legit. I am going to have to do something with this, maybe integrating it into Skateboardspots so the spots show up on a real map if possible. I know that mapquest has a real stupid policy about linking to maps. Its nice when a company like Google comes right out and essentially says, “go ahead and use this, we cant wait to see what you can come up with”. I think this new trend of having open, free API’s is the greatest thing to happen to the web and us developers in quite some time.
